Senior Contract Administrator

APH is the Nation’s largest producer of accessible high-stakes tests for grades K-12. This position is responsible for managing the expectations of our customer Test Providers while continuously managing over 500 tests through the APH processes.

Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gifts Officer will identify and directly solicit mid-level and major giving prospects, steward current major donors, and manage the national major giving program for APH, particularly focused on the Northeast, to raise funds toward the Development fundraising goal. This individual will develop compelling cases for support, actively ask for gifts, and ensure APHs ongoing sustainability and growth.

Customer Service Specialist II

Reporting directly to the Director of Customer Experience, the Customer Service Specialist will support the Customer Service team by answering calls and email, handling customer inquiries, order entry, return authorizations and setting up customer accounts.

Digital Content Manager

Reporting to the Director of the APH ConnectCenter, the Digital Content Manager assists with acquiring, creating, and delivering useful and accurate informational content that is aligned with APH’s mission. The websites that make up the APH ConnectCenter are: FamilyConnect, VisionAware, CareerConnect, and the educational site BrailleBug. Together these sites are the largest body of information about blindness and visual impairment on the internet in the U.S.

Evaluation Specialist

APH is seeking an Evaluation Specialist to assist departments, by request of the director or VP, in developing and implementing evaluation plans and building capacity for internal evaluation. Activities may include helping to establish performance measures and data collection practices and procedures, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting findings to support decision-making and program improvement.

Product Manager

The American Printing House for the Blind (APH) is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and outreach of our line of educational coding products for K-12 students who are blind and visually impaired. We seek team members who are committed to our company’s 163-year mission of providing comprehensive products and services that create an accessible world, with opportunity for everyone.

Building Maintenance Worker

Must be capable of performing general duties associated with industrial building maintenance, e.g. electrical, plumbing, HVAC. Will facilitate repairs, perform preventive maintenance, test and log system data for heating and cooling systems, boilers, air compressors, and other facility systems.

Certified Braille Transcriber

Performs Braille transcription of a variety of printed materials into Braille code using transcription software.

Product Repair Tech

Performs general cleaning, troubleshooting and repair of various electronic equipment, Braillewriters and other mechanical devices following schematics, drawings and manufacturer’s specifications.

Educational Aids Production Worker

Manufacture materials that will include the following tasks: packaging, die cutting, assembly, vacuum forming, sanding, gluing, hand painting, riveting, and sonic welding. Maintain basic records for the work produced, including appropriate documentation of Quality Control.

Large Type Production Worker

Collates, inspects, rings, cuts, assembles, and sorts large type printed materials. Operates equipment to reproduce printed books. Receives and stores master books; makes and assembles cases.

Development & Major Gifts Coordinator

The Development & Major Gifts Coordinator will assist in securing sustainable funding opportunities and increase revenue through prospect and donor research and stewardship in Louisville and surrounding communities.
