Product Description
This math aid helps students who are blind and visually impaired comprehend abstract numerical concepts. The number line is a basic tool for teaching number concepts, number sequence, counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rounding, estimating whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
The Common Core State Standard for Mathematics (2102) references number lines for teaching mathematical concepts. The standards range from representing whole number sums on a number line at the elementary level, to representing fractions at the intermediate level, to locating irrational numbers at the middle school level.
