Non-visual Audio-based Learning With Studytracks
Recognizing the ease with which students learn song lyrics, the developers of Studytracks present standards-based middle and high school math and science content set to music! Professional music recording artists set content written by science and math teachers to high quality, teen-preferred musical arrangements. Each song repeats aspects of the content (e.g., definitions) three times, enhancing memory. With over 1000 tracks and dozens of playlists from which teachers can choose, it is like food for the pattern-seeking human brain!
All subscriptions to the iOS or Android app for teachers and students are discounted during school closures due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Studytracks website is fully accessible with JAWS and NVDA. When schools reopen, students with vision impairment can subscribe at a discounted rate. Or, TVIs and teachers with a subscription can make selected tracks or playlists available to all of their students.
