APH Museum and AFB Helen Keller Archive
The Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind creates encounters with artifacts, images, and ideas that engage people with the history of literacy and learning for people who are blind or visually impaired. APH also houses within our collection the extraordinary AFB Helen Keller Archive.
APH ConnectCenter
The APH ConnectCenter empowers people toward greater independence and lifelong success by providing curated information and resources to assist people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired.
APH Prison Braille Program
The APH Prison Braille Program serves the dual purpose of providing educational and employment opportunities to individuals who are incarcerated and ex-offenders, as well as timely educational materials to children who are blind or low vision.
APH Huntington
APH Huntington provides hands-on trainings, workshops, discussions, and services throughout Cabell and Wayne Counties in Huntington, West Virginia, for people who are blind or visually impaired.
Braille Tales
The Braille Tales program ensures that children become interested in braille from a young age, encouraging them to be lifelong braille readers, by providing free print/braille books throughout the year.
InsightsArt
Since 1992, the InSights Art Program has hosted a contest and celebration for artists who happen to be blind. Both amateur and professional artists from around the world enter this juried art competition.
The M.C. Migel Library
The APH Migel Collection is the largest known library of materials related to blindness and visual impairment in the world. The historical collection complements the professional materials housed in the APH Barr Library.
Virtual ExCEL Academy
The APH ExCEL Academy provides online learning opportunities in the form of free and engaging webinars for students with a variety of abilities year-round, including summer STEM and Spanish-language camps!
The APH Hive
A free eLearning platform for educators and families, the APH Hive enables teachers to earn ACVREP credits from a growing course catalog covering Assessment, Core Curriculum and more.
